I once did a thread on another forum that turned out some pretty interesting answers. What is your favorite puzzle in the game?
My favorites (to get things started) are duty nav, weavery, carp and gunnery.

Long live the Battle Nav (Bnav), Gunning, Blacksmith, Carpentry (not patching), all the carousing puzzles except spades really, sf, rumble, and forage  |

My favorites are patching (even though I'm still super terrible at it), rigging, and bilge. I don't like to sf, but I love to rumble, and to forage.  |

bnav for me...its like a game of chess you cant describe...other than that gotta go with blacksmith and carpentry

Hmmm. As for piracy puzzles, carpentry, patching, battle navigation, and rumble.
I don't mind playing any of the carousing games... well, excluding treasure drop (I despise it because it confuses me).
I don't play crafting skill puzzles very often, but my favorites among those would be distilling and blacksmithing.
