good to see that crew do check the forum - esp given that the official puzzle pirates forum is unreachable - kinda feels like we must be the only crew with any coherence.... such as it is!
would love to see [when it's back up n running] a co-ordinated effort to run a major pilly - eg. a bunch of us to help out the more piratedly upfront or stupidly brave of us who have actually attempted to fill a 75 station ship...
[sorry guys! no dis intended - ya know who ya are - and it was very courageous - hats off to ya.]

I would love to help on a pillage of major proportions! Used to help on brigs and frigs back in the day. Was a designated "stand on the deck, make sure none are dc and everyone is on station" sort of person. We did puzzle if we were short handed but most of the time we would put one person on top deck and one below (three for a grand frig) just to monitor jobbers and stations so all the bnav had to do was drive.

sounds good - and not too strenuous - another thing i noticed as being fairly essential, especially if there's a bit of a wait, is that jobbers are greeted as they arrive (sounds obvious eh) but also given some kind of idea how long they're likely to wait...
been on a couple of big ships where the waiting time has been upwards of two hours.... that's ok if ya know ya can go and practice or something and that yr get back on before it leaves... [yeah i know it means some won't come back but a whole load of ppl boarding at once, ppl follow for fear of missing out!]
anyway - seeing as i can count the major voyages i've been on, on one hand - any other ideas are more than welcome...
of course - this is all assuming that ypp pull their fingers out of the light socket and restore our characters etc...

Something that might help the weight times would be putting on the jobbing notice how many needed (and at the start PAD the number so it looks better).
