Logged on today to find Choose and Aco in a mess. Mostly full carp, Full Bilge and very little help.
Thankfully Pet was there to help as well.
After the thing was ported here is part of the conversation
Toryis says, "okay for future reference hop on and plank everyone who refuses to jump ship."
Toryis says, "just let them auto port"
Choosenone says, "no..."
Toryis says, "well if you decide to run a pillage after then...it isn't a rescue it is a pillage."
Choosenone says, "i port ships because it hurts crew reputation"
Choosenone says, "if you dont care about that then fine i can do that"
Choosenone says, "i dont want to but i can"
Toryis says, "what is more important is to find out why (name of officer) abandoned and make sure it doesn't happen again."
Toryis says, "in an emergency yes i see abandon....then one should make sure another officer can take over."
For Future REFERENCE
1. Make sure you have TIME to pillage
2. (if you have parents) make sure you have Permission.
3. Choose yer route wisely so that the pillage does NOT take longer than you wanted. (short route for short pillages, etc)
4. ALWAYS unlock the vessel.
5. Try to have another officer online just in case.
6. IF there is an emergency SAY SO> "eep emergency...someone take over" and log.
7. and finally IF a ship is abandoned you should not HAVE to port it but you CAN port it.
Please by all means let's discuss this one because ships left abandoned make us look bad especially in the case listed above as the ship had a jobber onboard.
